I knew Mr Scott as a Science Teacher at CPHS. Every parent and students felt Mr Scott was an exceptional Teacher who taught his students with every day scenarios. He always was a fair Teacher and I never heard anyone say anything negative about him. In my humble opinion, Mr Scott deserves to be treated Fairly just like everyone. Please allow Mr Scott the opportunity to vocalize his thoughts and opinions regarding this matter.

Mr. Scott does not deserve this treatment, he has always been 100% real. I’ve learned more w him than w another science teacher, he is passionate about his job & career. It’s unfair what they’re trying to do.

Me Scott was a great teacher! One of the best at CPHS. I graduated about 17 yrs ago and I still can remember his passion and hard work he put in. He truly cares about the students and what he is teaching. A rare thing to come by these days.

Mr. Scott is one of the best biology teachers at College Park. The class had always been easy- you show up and do the work and study for his tests- nothing complex about that. A lot of people did not like him because he wouldn’t change their grade for late work. But that is no excuse to spread rumors against him. A student is responsible for their grades , not their teachers. I also have witnessed others being jerks to him and messing with his stuff. These students had no respect for him- they were just rude and disrespectful. Usually these type of people don’t like putting any effort into school so it’s no surprise that they were failing. Mr. Scott did the right thing to fail them due to the lack of participation and effort they put in his class.

Doug has done nothing to warrant termination. Just look at the climate surveys for the past 2 years and you'll see where the real problem lies and who should be terminated. Doug is a passionate and professional teacher .....this is absolutely unjust

Mr Scott is the most amazing teacher! I had him for my Earth Science class in 2004 and even 15 years later I still talk about the things he taught us and how he has had such a huge impact on my life. He has such great passion for teaching and for this Earth. It would be a tragedy to all students if the School District keeps Mr Scott from teaching. His style of teaching keeps the students engaged and wanting to learn. Always remember, every day is Earth Day!

I’m proud to say that I’ve had Mr. Scott as my biology teacher. With his passion for this Earth, he uses his knowledge by teaching his students and younger generations how to love and respect the world we live in. His voice needs to be heard. His passion needs to be seen. His knowledge needs to be passed on. His love needs to be understood. Mr. Scott is a hardworking man who deserves to do what he loves. And that is teaching.

The school district has no right to kick a teacher out of school for no reason. The teacher did nothing illegal and it is just unfair. Look at all these people trying to help this teacher to stay. He must be such a great teacher and if you guys take this teacher away from these students, then you district will regret it. We have a word to say that this teacher deserves to stay and do what he loves to do to make these students successful!!! What’s going on to this world !! So disappointed
