Why wasn't he arrested earlier, or on the countless calls that were made for the same thing?? Outraged by the lack of police work in this.. Again, selective prosecution is in play..smh..I'm glad I don't live in Rockbridge County anymore.. May justice be served so that the family of this woman can at least have that.. May God's blessings be upon this family and may His wrath be shown through the people that have to pass judgment unto Martin Nicholas

If the judicial system works, now is the time to let us witness how much of it is worth its weight and not in words. A_C_T_I_O_N speaks louder. Can you hear us now?

Domestic disputes should never be taken lightly ... I do not know story but think it does need to be investigated to see if could have been prevented by actions take.

I fell victim to domestic violence in the 70's. At that time they made no arrest no matter the situation. You had to get the magistrate to swear a warrant and go to court. I remember one night he told me I really didn't want to do it . So I ended in ER. This is 2017, protect the abused! Now

I went to school with Debbie and she was always a sweet lady. I also graduated with Mark. It is so tragic on both parts. I just she gets justice.

This is such an avoidable tragedy the police should have taken this monster in and locked him away a long time ago! He needs to go to prison for murder! My sympanties to her family.
