No words to explain this. I thought when there was a domestic abuse call somebody always went to jail. Great job Lexington Police Department! !

Any other situation one of them would have been removed from the home at least for 24-72 hrs. Why didn't this happen in this situation?

I believe the law says that the police are to arrest the domestic abuser and take him to jail and a 72 hour restraining order is placed against him. None of this was done. The police department is liable for her death.

Usually once the police are called to a domestic abuse call they will remove the person from the house and issue a protective order. I know thus because I am a victim of domestic abuse, these things happened in each and every case. I want to know WHY thus didn't happen here because it didn't happen it resulted in Debbie's death. Please punish Mr Nicholas he deserves to hurt like he hurt her.

That man needs to be done just like this poor innocent woman was. DO NOT let him sit in jail and live his live take his like hers was taken. Gone but never forgotten Debbie

this is a terrible thing for this to happen. I lived it and survived he shot me and abused me and my kids he is now dead and not bothering us, it does not always work out this way. when police gets involved please help the ones in danger this could have been prevented. she did her part you should have done yours.
