Many years have past and this tragic murder still is fresh. I do not feel release is the answer for Jeff Deel.
Rehabilitation is not the answer. Serving out life long sentence is best.

Being a neighbor in the neighborhood of Jeff Deel, I feel his release would be disastrous to the community. I am so glad he came to terms with God, but I feel he could not adjust outside of prison.

Many condolences to Danny's family. I can't imagine how difficult is.
Anyone looking for some healing in their lives b/c of something like this should WATCH THE MOVIE "The Shack!" (it will help give you an entirely new perspective on any disturbing event which occurred in your life.) Thankfully Jeffrey Deel is still incarcerated, hopefully getting some serious psychiatric assistance while locked-up. I don't think any Judge would release someone back into the mainstream of life that might be a threat to others. Maybe into a state lockdown psychiatric facility, but that's up the Judge and God, last I checked I was neither of these two, so I will pray that the O'Donnell's are comforted in this time and are eventually able to forgive the very sick man, Jeffrey Deel for what he did 38 years ago.

I am a victim of my stepfather murdering my sister as a teenager and he served 4 years and I was never notified he was released and have lived in fear for 40+ years and he was allowed to change his name and go on to eventually molest other children. We need to protect our society once you take a life you give your life forever behind bars.
