2026 Joint Appeal to the Philippine Government, 2026 Chair of ASEAN, The United Nations Human Rights Commission and all concerned with seeking justice and preserving the memory of the comfort women who suffered in WW2.

We, the undersigned, solemnly appeal to the aforementioned entities to prioritize the recognition and redress of the atrocities committed against comfort women during World War II.

Key requests include:

- Formal acknowledgment of the Philippine and regional Government's role in addressing historical injustices, the need to preserve the memory of the comfort women and implement the recommendations of UN CEDAW regarding this issue.

- Support for survivors seeking justice, compensation and an official apology from Japan

- Preservation of historical records and education on this critical issue

Prevention and exposure of incidents of interference in the preservation of the comfort women's memorials.

We urge prompt action to honor the dignity and human rights of these survivors.
