There are far more avenues to go before suspension... A coach can change lives and this is just what this staff has done. It's bigger than basketball. It's LIVES they have changed for the better and I'm sure they will continue to do so. These are the kinds of adults our youth need in their lives... Please consider other options of discipline

Not only is coach T an amazing coach but he is also a genuine person. As a former Athlete I will be the first to say that Gates struggles to find GENUINE coaches that not only care about the game but their players too; And he is one of the few that are there .. Do better Gates.

While I understand the issue, and it should not happen, it was a mistake and it should have been handled differently especially considering his contributions to the children and district. Give him another chance.

Listen to this families, he may have made one poor choice but holy cow if we were to fire everyone in this district for making a bad choice you ALL would be fired! My gosh! Take a look at our pathetic athletic teams. They are all a disaster, and we finally have the basketball team coming back and you’re going to just yank the coach?? Gates chili you are pitiful!

Coach T is one of the greatest basketball coaches Gates Chili has ever had. He taught us more than just the game of basketball. He was a great role model and always wanted best for his players. The man deserves his job back!
