FWC will tranquilize bears and relocate them but shot to kill a tame wolf. I wonder if any of them have been educated on the fact when a wolf loses a family member it mourns just like us humans do. So sad.

Had just visited the preserve not long ago. The volunteers are so dedicated and did not see one aggressive act from any of the wolves. We were in a large group and many people interacted with and petted them. So sad.

Please investigate this cruel action taken by the FWC in Panama City, FL.

This was unecessary and unexcusable, FWC needs to be held accountable!

they shouldnt have killed him or done anything without contacting the owner first. The wolf didnt deserve to get shot just because FWC was to lazy to tranquilize him and return him.FWC is wrong for what they did period.

Another example of FWC unwillingness to lie and kill for the FUN of it. These people do not love or even like animals. They are hunters and KILLERS who just want to rid the entire country of wildlife. All animals should be treated like the precious beings that they are. Seacrest

I think what happened to Chaco is disgusting and disgraceful FWC should hold thei head in shame they are suppose to save and help animals not kill them they are just making excuses that they had no other choice there is always choices

There is no excuse for the murder of Chaco and I think these Fish & Wild life officers should be punished. And not by a slap on the hand. I think that they should lose pay AND have to do like some community service at Seacrest so they can get knowledge of these beautiful animals and see that what they did, there was no need for. If they could shoot him from 30 ft, why couldn't they shoot him with a dart to make him drowsy? Florida Fish & Wild Life are getting out of control with the killings of bears and now Chaco and they need to pay for what they have done. If they even begin to say he was a threat then they are lying because Chipley is a very small town and I am sure that everyone throughout the years has been aware of the Seacrest and how gentle these animals are. Sounds to me like the officers just wanted to play big hunter, have something to talk about and KILL !

This is wrong. The people who done this need to pay for their actions. Idiots.
