I read the whole story. That was just wrong. The whole FWC department deserves to have criminal charges on them. The whole "just following orders" excuse wont work here. You have a choice to either follow the orders or to stand up for whats right. Chaco deserved better than that.

I find it horrific, I couldnt stop crying, I wish I could do to them what they did to this poor wolf.. i litterally became chaotic, I feel these people are ignorent, arrogant, obnoxious, rude and so hideous. that wolf was NO harm to the people and could not defend himself, I feel we should be the ones to stand up and defend the wolves, DOWN with the people that did this! the wolf was to be a first time father, he would never get to see his pups grow. awful thing!

Their actions were UNCONSCIONABLE! I have a hard time reading this story because it is heartbreaking! They KNEW that the handlers almost got him and that he was scared after being separated from the others. You cannot tell me that the people in this kind of job do it because they care about conservation or because they are protecting the community! They are usually small minded, ignorant, egotistical, arrogant people that get enjoyment out of the power of not having to be held accountable for their actions under the guise of protecting the community in the name of the Govt. There are those that gravitate to these kinds of jobs to destroy, NOT to protect wildlife! I would liken this to why pedophiles gravitate or seek jobs where they are in contact with children. Power in the hands of the ignorant and irresponsible, is a dangerous thing! Remind me again, WHO is the predator?! RIIIIGHT!

Shame on the Florida FWC! Unfortunately, they aren't much different than most of the Fish, Wildlife, Game officers in other states. Just a bunch of mindless hicks with guns!!!

Justice for Chaco. The person responsible for murdering him, as well as the others who deliberately misled his handler must also be punished. This is an outrage and a terrible loss. RIP Chaco. You are and will be missed.

I live in Colorado and after reading about this, I am enraged. City, state and federal employees are employed by the people, for the people. Not the other way around. They are there to work for us. As we have been seeing across the country city, state and fed. entities have forgotten what their purpose is in this country is. They seem to think they Are the law instead of a representative of the law ,allowed so by the people. They have forgotten that it is they that serve us. The officials that were involved in the deceptive killing of Choco need to be held accountable for their actions. I guarantee these people WILL NOT hold each other accountable. The only way this will happen is if WE THE PEOPLE stand together and demand action be taken in this matter. This in not only a Florida problem but a problem for this whole country. We know by now that those that have been chosen to represent us do not have the integrity or the honor for that trust and it needs to be removed. To the Seacreast Wolf Preserve i am deeply sorry for your senseless loss and will do anything in my capability to help , yours truly ERIC DIRKS
