Pretty sure there is an international treaty that protects endangered animals that are transported across international boundaries.
So basically a representative of the Florida state government just violated a treaty and federal law.
Hope the guy get's punished for murdering that wolf!

I stand with Seacrest that the murder of this beautiful wolf was totally unnecessary and in humane. I have visited Seacrest many times in the last eight years and have seen the care Cynthia, Wayne, and volunteers give to the wolves. They are truly dedicated to the preservation of the species and education of the public. Seems that FWC did not want to be educated!

Unacceptable. Those responsible for the deception and consequent shooting must be punished accordingly.

This was an infuriating thing to wake up to. They should have known to just dart it as there was one who got out in have flood. I could sit here and curse all day about it but in huge end it would get me no where. I hope this brings just for the poor wolf.. My heart goes out to it...

This event needs to be looked into and if the FWC need to be held accountable for their crimes. This 'bullies' get to do whatever they want and the people harmed have to change is bullshit and these people need to be removed from their job.

You wouldn't shoot an escaped domesticated dog or cat, so why shoot a socialised wolf? Just because it is a wolf? Then why allow people to have "dangerous" pets like tigers as well? This is a disgusting occurrence.

Justice for those that do not have a voice. I love it. Those gentlemen should be ashamed of themselves, and i hope they regret what they did for the rest of their days. A life IS a LIFE.

The actions of the officers involved are disgracefully deceptive and almost certainly unlawful. A proper investigation needs to be done and the parties responsible held accountable.

Wolves and other wildlife have just the same rights to live as humans. This is wrong, and the people who made this happen should be punished.
