Because it is wrong to poach and kill animals such as Cecil, all groups involved in protecting these lions must bring corruption to justice with strict penalties. Cecil the famous and loved lion did not deserve to be shot and to suffer as he did. The lion loses his legacy and his six cubs because they will not be taken care of and Zimbabwe continues to lose its dignity and position among respectful countries of the world. Why should this corruption continue? It is shameful and sad. Please save the wildlife through preservation and not poaching. There will be nothing left worthy to visit or to speak of.
It is being proven that most African countries are unable to manage and protect their wildlife and the leaders are not helping to stop international hunters like Walter Palmer the American dentist who lured and hunted Cecil, Zimbabwe's beloved lion.

Walter Palmer must pay for his crime. He should be extradited to Zimbabwe and stand trial like the other two individuals.
What a coward! He ran back here to the US where he probably thought he could escape retribution. His story about not knowing he was killing a lion from the preserve is not believable, especially in light of the fact that Cecil was wearing a collar.. He should be jailed for this atrorcity and forced to wear a collar that bears the photo of Cecil.
