"I would like to urge to reconsider your decision of submitting a traditional drama that follows conventions and that casts a shadow on the transparency and fairness of your selection process. Submitting “Viktoria” would show a decisive interest in encouraging diverse, young, and daring voices to shine and represent Bulgaria in front of the world."

Тhis is not the first such case. And this is the usual way the system works anywhere in Bulgaria. It's high time to end this idotism.

It is inadmissible that a comittee member even thinking to offer his/her film for discussion in such competion. And unfortunetely Bulgaria still has this phenomenons left from the past. I think that all committee members have to resign after this scandal! It's time to act with simple ethics.

“Viktoria,” by Maya Vitkova has been rightfully hailed as the most important Bulgarian film of 2014 as it has been praised at several international festivals. Full support for new visions!

This is a painfully unfair situation. The only thing that gives me great joy here is the fact that still there are people in this country who refuse to keep quiet in matters like this one and are eager to champion our worthy cinematic creations in front of the rest of the world.
