We as the family and friends of the victim, Brandy Louise Gallego are devastated over the tragic murder of our beloved Brandy that occurred on November 7, 2007. We oppose the early release of the inmate responsible for her death and ask that Kirk D. Wingo remain in prison to serve his full 10 years to life sentence for his first offense and 8 to 20 years for his second offense.

He took an innocent life and left children without a mother. He should not be allowed to come out to the world. His sentence was a joke! Shame on judge and jury!
Brandy and her family were such important parts of my childhood, and when I think about her being taken away like she was, there feels like a hole in all of our lives. It’s still hard for me to believe. No one who can commit such a crime can be rehabilitated, nor can any amount of time be enough to pay for what he took from her family and friends.
This person murdered, in cold blood, and without remorse, my friend's daughter. He must remain incarcerated.
I believe that Kirk may not get early release because her daughter Alizette is my best friend. I see all the pain and hurt this has cause her & her family. His selfish actions do not deserve an early release
Kirk Wingo devastated this family years ago. The passage of time has NOT diminished their pain. This murderer NEEDS to stay imprisoned to protect our communities.

Monsters do not belong on the streets. They belong in prison. The sentence he was given was not nearly long enough. Now he wants out early. What the prison of mind that his victims family will live with the rest of their lives. Keep him locked up.
