They should be retried and sentenced to death. Susana Martinez, the prosecutor, cut a deal for an easy win. Monsters like this should not be allowed to live amongst decent people. Others have been put to death for less heinous crimes. The release, and even tolerance for the life of these people, is dispicable and a shame on the American and New Mexican justice systems. I'm sure the punishment would have been harsher if it happened in another estate, or if the victim weren't Hispanic.
