This is heartbreaking. So many people would have loved to have that baby and love her. I hope she gets shot or beat everyday at the hands of someone she cares about.

Baby Brianna still keeps me up at night - more accurately the animals who abused and raped her do. I think it's important for us as society to feel that justice has been done in severe cases such as this one. Letting her mother out on parole is not justice. Her punishment was nowhere near proportional to the crime committed.

Why in the hell aren't these evil individuals being put to death?! By keeping these people alive we are giving a message to other child murderers and abusers out there that its okay to do these sorts of things to helpless children!! If the victim were a 20 year old woman or man, you can't help but wonder if they'd get the death penalty for this! Why don't the same rules apply when this sort of thing happens to children?! I just can't wrap my mind around any sensible explaination to my question! And that's the most saddening part about it.
