As much as I respect this and sympathise with the family, the man in question was a diplomat. There is really nothing that can be done other than deporting him if need be. Seems like injustice but that's kind of how it works.

Glad that this petition has been raised because the unlawful act of the fijian government shows zero remourse to the family of the son that has been killed (murdered) by another human being showing no respect towards their on citizens and people yet letting free of the person that had literally killed another who had a mother waiting back at home and wife hoping to spend the rest of her life with her husband, does this not show any guilt or sorrow towards the family? Letting free of the person that killed a son and a husband, put yourself in that family's situation would you like it if that happened to someone in your family and the person that murdered them got release with all the charges that was put against him???? Please think twice before you do it because it doesn't benefit anyone but the person that was released from all the charges against him.
