I really try and have respect for the police because they do have a dangerous job that often puts them in harms way to protect others, but this is just disgusting and uncalled for. That little dog was in no way endangering anyone's safety and the member of the SWAT team just shot it because he had a gun and thought that gave him the right. Respect is a two-way street and if the police want to be respected and trusted then they need to suffer the consequences of their actions just like anyone else. He murdered that dog for no other reason than he could.

I'm tired of the police shooting innocent animals. Officers dressed head to foot in Kevlar are worried about a calm dog? It is time we stand up and scream out loud, that is will not be tolerated by the police anymore. Serve and protect us not yourselves when not needed. Cowards shoot dogs.

wow they are easily distracted if the dog was to distracting so they had to shoot it, bunch of cowards, they just wanted to shoot something they didnt care if the dog was walking away, maybe time to quit if you are that easily distracted and have to kill what is distracting you, quit your jobs and find new ones you cowards hiding behind a badge, makes me sick to my stomach

Killing a dog for no reason lands normal people in jail yet these men get to go free because they wear a badge? Failed justice system, children are suppose to look up to these men not despise them!
