These officers need fired and animal cruelty chargres brought against them. The department shold not be allowed to have a canine officer, they human officers obviously think shooting an innoccent animal is ok and therefor should not be allowed to put a canine officer in that sort of risk.

There was absolutely no reason to shoot that dog. They should have let their K9 unit handle it, probably would have done a much better job without excessive violence because he would have realized that the dog wasn't the threat.

Police murdering innocent animals MUST STOP NOW. What did this dog ever do to 'deserve' to get shot 4 TIMES, while trying to RUN AWAY from the officers? she wasn't attacking them, she was trying to run for her life. These officers should be fired IMMEDIATELY, and your police department, and police departments everywhere, really need to teach these officers sensitivity training on how to work around animals!! This is a TRAGEDY and a TRAVESTY that this happened!!

TheVideo was horrible and they had no reason to shoot the little dog. The screams and anger expressed by the people filming were raw and anguished. So the big bad police killed a little dog walking away from them. Moral of the story in this country anymore is don't turn your back on them whether you're a dog or person. Fire the bastards.

The owner was an idiot and he is to blame for the situation getting out of control. However, the dog didn't deserve to be shot. Maybe the idiot owner but not the dog.
