Amanda is a good person who has a drug problem. I believe all she needs is help with her problem. prison will not give her any chance to change or have a better life she is so young and can change her life around. please give her a chance, thank you.

I think if anything she could use some psychiatric support such as medication and counseling, but not up to 15 years for a mutual physical confrontation! She's obviously unstable from the fact her child was just ripped from her arms... Free Amanda!

This charge is so excessive that it is absolutely heartbreaking. .. There was not any weapons used there wasn't any injury. What type of system charges a woman with such an excessive charge... for nothing but a pushing match between a couple of girls. she deserves a chance at being reunited with her daughter and deserves a chance to learn healthy ways of living. she needs help not prison... My daughter is not some heartless person. she is a beautiful young lady that deserve s a chance to build a better life for her self. if they succeed at putting her in prison for that huge amount of time it will be stealing a huge chunk of her life from her.. that she will never be able to get back and prison is a no rehabilitation environment. so please get people to sign this petition.... I am a desperate mother in need of help and I cannot afford a attorney.

this shouldn't happen a new born deserves a mother not a mother who is in jail a mother who is kind loving and can take care of the child and this is terrible the child of the mother should get re united with the mother because that's what the kid needs a good role model mother that is not in jail and the mother does certainly not deserve to be in jail so for my comment I would like you to read this because it is wrong and you people should get a mind and let her be the mom she needs to be.

Amanda needs a place safe to heal from her child hood wounds to help her understand why the drugs have played a role in her life. A year long or more drug treatment center and cancealing is what she needs to stop the cycle, prison is not the answer!!! that is part of the problem. As a society/criminal justice system as a whole nobody wants to help heal, it just wants to throw a way a key on people instead being apart of the salution and bring about change for the better
