A person whom takes time to educate himself to the point where he is able to write his own appeal to be filed with the courts, is a person who should be viewed with a new lens. A lens that shows inteliigence and empowerment. A none violent crime with a sentence of 23 yrs? Seems to not be a fair or justice for the citizens.
