I too was a victim of systematic racism while working at JBER as an Accounting Tech IV. I know all about the dirty politics blacks are experiencing in the state of Alaska. Fortunately, I survived it, although, it was very unjust. I’m strong, intelligent, a fighter and a winner! God bless Alaska!

This entire situation is extremely heartbreaking. I personally have had encounters with toxic leadership in the USAF which in turn weighs heavy on the mental and spiritual well being of an individual. Imagine devoting your life to protecting and defending your country, and in turn, having toxic co-workers and leadership try to destroy a positive reputation you have built in your life and career. Rex Sharpe deserves so much more. He is a mentor to many airmen AND civilians. The United States Air Force needs to get rid of toxic airmen and SUPPORT the airman who advocate for a better more productive Air Force, like Rex Sharpe.

This is & has been the environment in the military for a long time. This has to change. No one should be penalized for doing the right thing. Especially when you voluntarily raise your hand to serve your country.

The arbitrary, uneducated, capricious decisions made by an uninterested administration makes my physically ill. Dunleavy and Sullivan have already drunk the kool-aid and are worshipping at the temple of first-world white guy problems and how can I subjugate everyone who is different from me. My Dachshund is a better leader than that knucklehead. Call MURKOWSKI—she’s the only sane, educated pro-Alaskan one in the bunch. Good luck. See if Rex Butler will take this pro-bono.
