This is an absolute failure within our health care system that this family has endured. Every life is so precious and that the most advanced country in the world has become complacent treating patients is an atrocity. There is no amount of compensation that is appropriate for the loss of life. This family deserves a full review of the handling of this case and accountability of all parties involved in this failure. Just as important however is corrections in procedures so other families never endure this grief of losing a newborn child
