Getting rid of open parking was the seniors fault when they were juniors last year we should not be the ones suffering the consequences.

It is frustrating to not have the opportunity to be able to park in the school especially when not only myself and other students have sports and jobs. Myself and other students involved in after school activities should have the priveldge to have a spot. In addition, Watchung Hills is a public school meaning everyone should have a spot in all fairness. A suggestion I have for additional parking is to use the no longer used field hockey field at the bottom of the hill for a parking lot. That way, students would be happier.

That wouldn't be fair to the seniors that park down there. The raffle is simply to prevent more of you coming then there are spots. Although it's not fair in certain aspects, juniors have always had to park solely in lower gravel with the exception of the last couple days of school. You guys can wait your turn like we all did.

Even though juniors have sports just like seniors do, a late bus is provided for that reason. Athletes and other after school activities are also informed with a schedule of the hours that they are to stay after school ahead of time, and it's something you and your parents agreed to take on, knowing that you would need a way home that is not provided by the school.
Even if the school was to reinstate parking for the juniors in lower gravel and Mountain Ave. there would still be the same problems that juniors had last year which were: not enough parking spaces, taking seniors parking spaces due to the unavailability of their own, and small accidents due to the cramped spacing. Just because juniors in the past had the ability to drive doesn't mean that it didn't come with its problems like it would if the school were to bring it back.

Juniors shouldn't have to raffle for a right to be able to drive to school everyday once getting a license. Having a license is privilege. It helps out SO many parents with getting their kids to school on time while managing their work life and parent life. We demand our rights to park!!
