Dear Patriots, Now that Dr. Paul has clearly stated that his campaign HQ will NOT be organizing a Ron Paul Revolution Rally, we hope to garner vast support for a NATIONAL LIBERTY RALLY on the same day of June 21st which Dr. Paul has endorsed, the ratification of OUR CONSTITUTION. The planning will have to be organized by grass roots, but, we can use the former petition below to plea for the good doctors\' attendance at what will be an incredibly historic event. Please join us and sign. Most of all, PROMOTE THE FIRST ANNUAL NATIONAL LIBERTY RALLY! Dear Dr. Paul, Thank you so much for your time. We humbly present this friendly petition as an appeal to your generous consideration concerning the scheduling of your upcoming rally in Washington, DC. This appeal was conceived by a Ron Paul Campaign Meetup group in Rockville, MD. We decided to post this petition online in hopes of acquiring a significant number of signatures from the majority of your grassroots supporters planning on attending the DC rally. We realize this petition may be considered politically incorrect by bypassing your campaign headquarters and we sincerely apologize for any offense we may have caused in this endeavor. Congressman, as you are aware, you have moved and motivated an overwhelming mass of support in your historic campaign. With such vast numbers hopefully attending the rally, scheduling and logistics are certainly critical. All of us who signed below firmly believe that June 21st, 2008 would be the ideal date for the rally. Most importantly, this date does not conflict with any national or state holiday that would allow for minimal coverage or complete blackout by the corrupt mass media. Second, your youngest voters are mostly on summer break and would be thrilled to swell the ranks. Third is the fact that June 21st is on a weekend that would allow more people to attend from a further distance and/or not have to miss a day off work. Last, but certainly not least, the powerful historical significance of the ratification of our Constitution is the monument that has yet to be built in the District of Columbia. A June 21st rally for freedom could forever be that missing monument to liberty. Dear sir we empathize with the feverish pace of your schedule during these two critical campaigns. The reason we felt it imperative to implore to you personally is that this rally and who, or how many, can attend is absolutely critical to the fruits of our labor in your campaign. So many volunteers across the country have worked tirelessly and passionately to achieve success in your campaign that we would be so appreciative of consideration for our input concerning the rally date. We are concerned that the logistics and scheduling could possibly be co-opted by malcontents or smothered in the bureaucratic syrup and authoritative egos of a presidential campaign machine We felt the only way to avoid tragically missing this opportunity would be to physically place this petition in your hands, above the clamor of your campaign headquarters, so you could directly tender the hopes and dreams of your ardent supporters who signed below. Whatever your wise decision, may we respectfully request that you contact us directly, by mail or phone in regards to this matter so that we may post the results online for those who signed this document. We believe that as soon as we have a firm date, we could begin to coordinate the professional aspects of this undertaking to truly make it monumental, and certainly inescapable, to the media!
