I’m a Gathorne Road resident. The dangerous parking on the corner of North St is a huge problem for us in the road. Every time we go out in our cars we run the risk of accidents, cos you simply CANNOT see oncoming traffic through the illegally parked cars. I’ve been verbally abused and threatened for gently challenging the behaviour of the offending drivers. The obstruction is CONSTANT all day. The only viable remedy is a physical barrier to prevent the dangerous parking on the corners.

I was witness to an accident at this junction last week & have had several near misses myself. It's only a matter of time before someone is hurt. Or worse.

I have had several scary near misses, with my young child in the car. This junction is extremely dangerous and needs to be sorted, before there is another accident.

I have had 2 near misses and almost hit a cyclist due to parked vans, and suffered verbal abuse when I asked one van to move. It is only a matter of time until someone gets hurt oon this junction.

This junction is so dangerous with no visibility when people illegally park outside of Parsons

Any intervention should make it clearer that Gathorne Road is a one way street!

Very dangerous due to vehicles, often trades vans, parking on corners to go to Parsons and thus making visibility onto North St very poor.

Need a visibility splay like Exeter and Lime roads to stop parking outside parsons.

99% of the time, people are parked on the both corners blocking anyway of seeing. Basically, its a totally blind junction. Something needs to be done.

I frequently see cars speeding the wrong way down Gathorne road.
I saw a car pull out into the path of a cyclist the other day as its view was blocked by a van parked on a double yellow line.

The problem of people parking in the corner is a very real one, it reduces visibility to zero and makes accidents highly likely.
