There is no way that uniform can be so important it should put children's health at risk.

My daughter will be sitting exams this year and next! How is she going to concentrate when being made to wear 3 layers during the hot weather. All the students look smart with or without the jumper!!

i understand that the school would like to keep the students in uniform which I agree with but wearing a jumper as well as shirt and blazer in high temperatures is just silly. It is also a health risk on some students as everyone's individual body temperature differ. It is also interesting to see that none of the staff wear the 3 layers during hot days and they are supposed to be the students role models during school time.

Common sense to remove jumpers in warmer weather!

Should be optional some kids get warmer than others. I don't mind sending my child in wearing uniform but if he feels to hot he should be allowed to take off his jumper without being told no or put it bk on

How can a child concerntrate in lesson if they are too hot, this is awful! Why cant the school use common sense and adjust the rules accordingly. This is surely not promoting the health of the children.

Please use your common sense and not make children ill. Surely the child's welfare, health & safety should be your priority?

I am fed up with my daughter coming home in the heat after having to wear full uniform stuffing with overheating and headache due to the heat And don't think that they really need to bring full uniform into school on hot day why caarry extra in the heat unnecessarily

Totally agree with this as both my boys suffer once the temperature goes above 19. Had them off previous due to heat stroke

It must be against the law to allow this to happen

Children should be able to choose whether they wear blazers or not. It's appalling children are forced to wear blazers in extreme heat.

How can you expect them to concentrate if they are uncomfortable from the heat!

It's disgraceful that the kids have to wear jumpers in such warm weather. I don't see how their attire affects their learning in any way shape or form! It's an out-dated way of thinking and needs to be changed ASAP!

for heavens sake children will get sock, have nosebleeds and become dehydtrated. They have a human right not to become over heated. In my day it was short sleeve order, no ties or blazers and summer dresses for the girls if they wanted to wear them.
