This gym should not close. I have never enjoyed exercise until now. Going to the gym has become part of my daily routine. I am healthier than I have ever been. Jack and his team do a fantastic job and this should be encouraged to continue.

I train here 3 times a week, I've managed to find a gym I love after years. I cannot even believe this is happening, I actually train with another PT in here and Jack supports me so much. Between them, they do lots for charity, help kids get involved and more As a local business woman i feel that this will be a great loss to the community I'm sure the residents can come together and help us make this work PLEASE! JS health and fitness is a great local facility which has positively impacted my physical and mental well being. I have found it to be an inclusive community where all types of people are welcomend and encouraged to improve their health. In a climate where the government are putting a focus on public health promotion it seems completely counter productive to close down a local establishment encouraging those same principles.

This will be a travesty if this gym closed.

Js health and fitness has changed my life. I've never before enjoyed exercise and I now go more than 4 times per week. It helps so many people in the community get fit and healthy and stay fit and healthy! There's a great friendly atmosphere and we'd be lost without it.

This is a fantastic local facility which has helped turn my family from a bunch of couch potatoes into a family who gets upset if they have to miss one of the fitness sessions. If the gym gets closed, there will be a massive impact on the health and wellbeing of my family and I. Hands off this fantastic facility please.

Closing this facility would be contrary to the local and national goals of having a healthy population

It is outrageous that a local business doing such good work is under threat of closure particularly when the complainants are accusing our members of things (i.e. littering) which are far more likely to be local teenagers visiting Woodsend Park!!

Health and well-being have improved massively since joining JS Fitness. Cholesterol reduced. Body fat reduced. Feel leaner and much healthier. These were goals I could not achieve at a standard gym. I believe the service offered is of great benefit to the community. In addition, JSF has raised £££s for good causes.

The gym is a community. A community of like minded professional people looking to improve their health and wellness. Quite frankly with the obesity epidemic that is currently being seen and how it is predicted to rise by 2030 that fact it is being made difficult for a gym to operate is ridiculous. Instead community, family based gyms should be encouraged to help take the burden off the NHS and help to combat obesity before serious illness and disease is reached.

In an age where obesity, heart disease and diabetes is on the increase, local councils / governments should support national guidance which supports regular exercise to protect heart / joints etc. As an employee of the NHS I see the effects of these conditions daily and the subsequent drain on NHS resources. I would like to hope that my local council would protect establishments like JS Fitness which promotes healthy living, both mental and physical wellbeing. The opening hours are not unsociable and we are all responsible adults despite the nonsense that has been reported in the past. Feel free to contact me personally if I can be of any more assistance. 07855 245736
