I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have stepped up to show love for what Josh has built for our city. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who believe he deserves this tribute as much as I do.

Josh is one of the most nicest lads you will ever be lucky enough to meet. He deserves every success in his career after what he has done. Josh hasn’t just won the world title for himself but for the city of Leeds. We are proud of you josh. Well done
Fully deserved, as a role model to kids, for his work supplying food to the homeless, and as an ambassador for the children’s charity, Candlelighters. Leeds’ very first world champion warrants a memento at Elland Road!!
Remarkable young man, and a good role model. Teaching children if you want something and work hard enough for it anything is achievable. Definitely deserves this statue
