He has been the best linebacker in college football for two years. Its a complete farce he has not been named. If he was at Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan, Florida State this would be a no-brainer. It's a no-brainer here also.

It's ridiculous that he isn't a finalist. He is by far the best linebacker in the country. I don't say that because I'm a Hawk fan. Despite missing a game, he still has the best stats. He is the definition of what a linebacker is and should be. And giving back......everyone knows how much he does outside of sports and classroom. If he's not winning the award, then I don't understand what the award stands for. Might as well not exist. Politics I guess.

Josey Jewell is a no brainer to be a finalist. Him not being on it from the eye test and from a leadership standpoint is questionable. Then there's the comparing of stats that played out on the field. It's simply wrong for him not to be a finalist. Let's get this corrected!
