Absolute tragedy that Jewell was left off the list! This award should go to the “best” linebacker in the nation which is laughable since the “best” wasn’t even named a finalist!! What a joke!!!

JJ is the one extremely bright spot in a season that could have been! He is an amazing student and athlete not to mention the way he gives back and is till so humble in the process. He is exactly what any collegiate award should explimplify and it would be a shame to leave him off this list!

Jose Jewel should be on this list. It is not his choice to play thru pain. That is a coaching & medical staff decision. His stats speak for themselves.

I'm confused as to how Josey Jewell did not make this list. He is the best LB and more importantly an outstanding young man with incredible integrity.
