This is a travesty! How come when Ohio St. or a Michigan even Alabama college football player gets all the awards. Then a Iowa or Wisconsin football player gets their name on an award list they usually get a trip to the finalists group or an invite. This I have watched this kid play especially the past two seasons and a phenomenal senior year he played hurt the last few games with a sore or even injured shoulder and he should be nominated and win all awards nominated for.

Commonly outstanding student athletes are awarded for their excellence. To skip over someone who has put in a ton of work and shown time and time again his athletic abilities is a crock. Josey Jewell deserves to at the very least to receive a nomination for his work. Come on.

No one is close to Josey at the linebacker position this year. He is on the same level with Bosworth, Spielman or even Butkus himself.
