No one should receive the death penalty, nor should they be executed under the Law of Parties- last year a man from Florida was executed for rape and robbery while the man who committed the murder got life. Joseph Garcia's life is of value to God- please change his sentence to life.

Before you judge him get to know him first. Joseph is my fiancé. He took it to trial because he was defending himself and didn't feel like murder was appropriate for self defense. You have no idea what he is sorry for or what he isn't sorry for. Joseph wrote a book while in prison and every single cent of the sales are given to Hawkins' son. Joseph is a kind and loving man who wishes he could take that night back that originally sent him to prison. He did what anyone in his situation would have done if someone was attacking you. Don't say you wouldn't because you don't know what you would do until you are in it. I am not saying he wasn't wrong for escaping as a young man he wanted his life back. This man doesn't deserve to die. He isn't a bad person. I have sat right beside him for almost a year and I now Joseph and he isn't the person you think he is. I love him and will continue to fight to save his life. I cant speak for the other 2 remaining men but I can tell you who Joseph Garcia is.

Joseph is my fiancé and I sure hope it is not 2017. He could have a date by the end of summer. Praying not but only god really knows when it will be his time to go. He is a kind, loving, funny, compassionate man that I love so much. We are doing everything we can to fight this till the end. God brought this man into my life August 2015 and I am not ready to let him go yet. Pray pray pray its all we can do to save his life.

I been googling trying to find out what's going on with his case and I happen to come across a site saying his "estimate execution year would be 2017" I really felt so upset listening to his story I'm currently readying Joseph's book and I'm truly touch by his story he happen to be at the wrong place wrong time for both his offenses SOME ONE UPDATE ME ON THIS CAME PLEASE!
