Jordan Mitev (singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist) is born 13.08.1986 in Podaresh – Radovish, south-east Macedonia. He finished elementary school in his village but also went to basic elementary music school in Radovish, where he took some accordion classes and also couple of other basic musical disciplines. Love and passion for music Jordan showed since he was three years old, when he started singing macedonian folk songs, to entertain his family and closest friends. After elementary he took serious step in music, by signing in High Musical School in Shtip. With that, Jordan got more deeply, in both classical and even more in folk music, which was his starting point and always will be, for everything that he is doing in his career. In high school beside accordion and music theory, Jordan started learning a lot of other music instruments including: Piano, Kaval, Gajda, Zurla, and later own he took vocal classes from well-known famous singers. Jordan has finished high school with excellent grades and he continues his education on faculty of musical arts in Skopje at “Music theory and pedagogy with folk instruments”. He spends next four year in environment that gives him a chance to upgrade his experience and collaborate with famous professors musicians including Dragan Dautovski and Zivoin Glishich. In this period of time he also took private lessons in composing which boosted his talent. He graduate in 2008 and in Jan. 2013 got his Musical Science MA (orchestration) , at well-known professor Zivoin Glishich. Jordan has been well-noticed at his appearance on Folk Fest “Valandovo 2007”, as singer and songwriter. He performed “Makedonsko da zaigrame”, song that get won two awards. This is one of his first appearances as a professional musician on the scene, and after that he was part of so many festivals, events, concert at which he got many awards.In 2010 he also attended at the international folk instruments festival, “Frula Fest” Krushevac, Serbia, where he won the first place for kaval performance. Beside Macedonia, in his career he has been performing on seminars, concerts and events all over the world including: Slovakia, France, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina , Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Australia, Canada and many other. Up until now he released four albums, many music videos and one DVD Release.
