I really never thought people felt this strongly about the aspect ratio issue but my notifications have been exploding all day and it is genuinely wild to see so many of you passionate about getting this movie the proper treatment it deserves. Honestly I am just sitting here staring at the screen and smiling because maybe there is actual hope we can convince the studio to listen to us.

80s movies deserve better than pan and scan. Just give us widescreen finally.
PLEASE!! Been waiting forever for a remaster. My vhs tape gave out years ago.
This movie is a total classic. I have the old dvd and it looks terrible on my new tv. Let us see the whole picture!
Yes!! I love this movie so much but the cropped version drives me crazy. Needs a proper wide release.

Seriously? It is 2017. Why is this even a thing still. Stop cutting off the edges of my favorite scenes.
