Dear President Obama,
The Jones Act is preventing foreign skimmers and tankers from helping with the Gulf oil spill cleanup. We want the help of these specially designed ships that have cleaned up spills in other parts of the world.
We demand that you temporarily waive the Jones Act and allow these foreign ships to assist in the Gulf of Mexico cleanup.

This makes no sense. The water is a mess and we need every boat we can get out there to help. Stop the red tape and let them work.

Ridiculous to turn away help while the birds and beaches are dying. Fix this now.
