Reaching this level of support has been a long and exhausting process but seeing this many people back the idea keeps me going. It feels like the industry is finally noticing that our request has real weight behind it now.

Frakes knows the lore better than anyone. He actually gets what makes the show work unlike the guys they got now.
I realize this is a business, and the new films make money, but a balance can be had between box office and the core definition of this franchise. The reboot oia fine, but too many issues of contradiction still occur. The fix six minutes of Into Darkness are a joke, literally a joke, among fans. It's all pretty to look at but lacks substance and soul.
Bring star trek back to the fans that made it successful in the first place
