I voted for the school referendum: teachers and programs were saved,when it passed. The TIF monies generated for Kettle West are contrary to support of the schools. For seventeen to twenty years, the school district, city, Madison College Andy

Hold this meeting so that we can get the highest public input possible. This is perhaps the most important decision this board will make, it needs to be with as much integrity as possible.

Do something that's above board for a change. Thanks to the honest counsel alderpersons who are fighting for truth and honesty in Stoughton's governing authority.
the proposed development will fundamentally change the character of stoughton, the process should not be rushed through out of the public eye

I am hopeful that the Joint Review Board will be open to listening to the public's concerns about the proposed TIF for a retail development.

Joint Review Board Members: With this move by Mayor Olson to put the most critical last step of the TID process on a day and time to limit public participation speaks exactly to the problem that Stoughton citizens have faced from the start: the manipulation of the process to avoid public scrutiny. There is no reason to put the final public action on the 25th of November, right before our Thanksgiving holiday and in the morning so even fewer people can attend. This is shameful! The JRB has up to 30 days to conduct its decision-making! CANCEL the meeting on the 25th and move it to after Thanksgiving so that citizens can attend and participate. What the mayor is proposing is wrong and you know it! Roger Springman
