This is just stupid. A peraon who smokes will smoke regardless of the price of a cigarette. The rich will buy cigarettes of duty free for a less price in bulk, the middle class will spend any amount to buy a pack and the government will will increase the taxes and just make their check fat. What do you get from signing this petition. A butter tomorrow? Thats what they want you to believe. Everyone will turn to Marijuana which is actually better than cigarettes health wise as only one death has been reported due to the abuse of smoking Marijuana, and more non-smokers will just die of air pollution caused by factories releasing toxic gasses while you sign petitions that just makes no sense. Same with alcohol. This petition is just going to make the government check fat, not save lives. Why not sign petitions that are useful, like reducing taxes on medical and education. Reducing taxes on basic food items.
