These children need a proper education as well as those without disabilities. All children have suffered. It’s time to get this all back to normal.

Give parents the legal right to decide for their child. Parents are responsible for the child, not the state.

Special Education Legal Fund supports efforts to reduce the burden of proof on parents in special education cases, as parents generally - particularly those without resources and knowledge or subject to factors such as immigration status or language/cultural barriers - are greatly disadvantaged versus school districts in the special education advocacy process.

As the parent of a now adult person with Autism, I know first hand how difficult it can be to maneuver through the educational system so that our child can get the support they need. Every child deserves an opportunity sat a good education, even those who don't fit the neuro typical mold.

We should be putting emphasis on this, not the CRT garbage being currently considered. This bill would actually help children, whereas CRT is pure ideological bunk.
