As you know, Congress just passed the new Pilot Fatigue Rules. Unbelievably, pilots at cargo airlines don't require the same rest regulations. The IPA (Independent Pilots Association) has taken legal action to petition review of this decision: http://www.ipapilot.org/petition_nprm/AdditionalPointsIPAFAAChallenge.pdf They are acting on behalf of all cargo pilots. It is completely in our interest as fellow cargo pilots to join them in this effort. I am urging you to sign this petition to our leadership to join the effort to include cargo carriers in these new rest regulations. One Level of Safety includes one set of Duty/Rest Rules.
