Hi, and thanks to you all for adding your signatures.
I intend to run this petition to gain publicity and as many signatures as possible.
Once I achieved I will it will be submitted to who I feel at the time most suitable to receive.
I can assure you giving in is not usually in my options.

This is an excellent idea, but does anybody know if there is a national body over all local councils other than UK government to whom this petition can be presented? John Thompson above states that government is not interested. All councils need to be made aware on a national level, a local level would be futile.
I am a member of the Talbot Owners Club and another member has posted this petition address on the website www.talbotoc.com

It said "38 signatures" before I signed, and it says "38 signatures" afterwards, even though my signature has been registered. Odd?

Good Luck. I set up a similar petition on the UKGov website. That struggled to get your target despite support from the Motorhome Press forums. Non of the clubs supported or even published details of the petition. It was rejected by government as not under their remit but that of each individual local authority.
I was because of this that a group set up the Motorhome Tourism Organisation http://www.tmtco.org to try to get the tourism bodies on board as The Motorhome Association has done in Northern Ireland where they now have Aires.
I have signed you petition and published its presence on the TMCTO Facebook Group page.
