Celery Fields is a major reason we spend our winter and our money in Sarasota. It’s an amazing oasis and can not afford to be diminished by encroachment by development.

There is way too much growth in Sarasota County already. Can we please leave these lands public space?? Please do not sell out to industry. Please!! The Celery Fields are a beautiful and amazing natural space and more industry nearby is likely to have a detrimental effect on the wildlife that lives here. Thank you so much for your consideration.

The entire social and environmental fabric of Sarasota County is being destroyed for the insatiable greed of right wing politicians and developers. This must not prevail. The celery fields are only a tiny symbol of what is being lost.

Keep the Celery Fields! If it’s developed, it is gone forever. You can’t go back. Don’t make that mistake!

Celery Fields must be protected along with the land east of I-75 to provide habitat for our beloved Florida wildlife.

This is NOT the future we want for our children. Let’s clean up and refurbish some of the area homes by giving increased tax breaks to investors who will “flip” homes already built in Sarasota!!

Keep rural areas RURAL! I moved back to NJ from Sarasota so I could go back to my town with 6 acre minimums that they are considering INCREASING to 16 acre minimums. People move to rural areas because they don't want sprawl!

Stop developing east Fruitville! Save some land for us who've been here! Our town benefits from agriculture, don't take all of Sarasota!

Keep our Celery Fields pristine for all to enjoy. The vistas, quiet hiking areas to observe its wildlife habitat is a gift to all of us. It must be preserved without industrial dust and noise. This is not the place for it!
