Save the Celery Fields. My daughter goes there to hike around, We fly kites, Enjoy the little bit of landscape in an otherwise flat state. This green space is needed here.

Still further confirmation that we need to elect County Commissioners by Single Member Districts to be able to elect Commissioners who are not beholden to the developers.

The Celery fields need a better name. While I appreciate the history, it misses the point, that Sarasota has created a gem on Florida's hide. Sarasota has a right to be proud of it's accomplishment and should showcase it - not despoil it.

I live in manatee county but come to the celery fields to observe wildlife. I eat in Sarasota county restaurants and otherwise contribute to the economy. Please protect them.

NO Please do NOT allow this land to be sold or developed, keep the Celery fields in its entirety, just the way it is!!!!

We, the public, tax paying, voting citizens, remember what almost happened. Maio and Moran...we especially remember how you voted! Shame, shame.

This is the once chance for the county to save a treasure before it becomes another regret. Plus Palmer Boulevard, with thousands of new homes were once were a handful of family farms already experiences traffic issues between 7-9 aM and 4-6 PM to the point, its beginning to washboard and can never be more than a two lane divided "cuntry road"

It would be wonderful is the adjacent public lands were made a part of the Celery Fields. This area is an amazing draw for birders, photographers, those looking to exercise and many just visiting our area.

It makes no sense to develop this land for anything else except a preserve. Why did the county spend so much money to develop Celery Fiields to just ruin it later.

Leave the Celery Fields alone.. it's one of the few remaining wild areas in your county. Go see for yourselves!
