John White, a Miller Place, Long Island homeowner dealing with a mob of white teens allegedly spewing racial epithets outside his home, accidentally shot and killed one of the teenage perpetrators.

Many of these teens were intoxicated when they approached Mr. White’s home, demanding that his son Aaron White come outside and fight them. Doing what any good father would do Mr. White retrieved two guns from his home in order to scare the menacing teens away.

Mr. White asserts that his gun went off accidentally.  Mr. White was convicted of second-degree manslaughter in the August 2006 killing of Daniel Cicciaro Jr and was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison. Many people, who know Mr. John White, testify that he is a decent family man, and a kind and non-violent individual.

There was no intent on Mr. White’s part to intentionally harm these teens. He just wanted them to go away. Unfortunately, this situation escalated into someone losing a son. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Cicciaro Family. However, Mr. White did not initiate this event. He is actually a victim of circumstances.
