The situation regarding John Scott is making a mockery of the NHL. You can't leave voting up to the fans, and then disagree with their voting so act like a two year old having a temper tantrum. Allowing the "trade" to remove him from the All Star game hurts the NHL, hurts the team, hurts the sport in general. The NHL used to stand for something other sports don't - strong camaraderie between the team and the community, and strong values. If I want to watch a sport where the leadership acts like two year olds, I'll watch football, thanks. Bring back the values the NHL used to stand for, and correct this injustice that's been committed against John Scott, his family, and the NHL fans.

The NHL should honor the fan’s wishes. These backroom deals to punish John Scott for a problem created by NHL execs with the lack of qualification for player eligibility is asinine and irresponsible. The NHL created a vote for ANY hockey player. The disingenuous “just business” trade demonstrates that the NHL does not care about the fans while the clubs of the Arizona Coyotes, Nashville Predators and Montreal Candiens are now complicit in damaging John Scott’s livelihood and career. All of the Execs responsible for not honoring the Vote of John Scott should lose their jobs at the NHL and the complicit clubs, or LET JOHN SCOTT PLAY!

I have to say this really bothers me. Even though he is not an "all-star" talent, he was voted by his fans and I hear all you out there he doesn't belong blah blah blah yea just like shoot-outs and 3v3 ot's don't belong. To the players the ASG is a joke and the way this has been handled is just disrespectful to everyone involved. Right or wrong he was voted in and deserves to play not be punished.
