The judge has officially ordered that Johnny’s case will remain in juvenile court. My heart is full knowing he will get the help he needs instead of facing the adult system, and I am deeply grateful to every one of you who fought for my son.
On September 26, 2007 my son, John Holland Jr. was involved in a car accident that tragically involved a fatality. It has been determined by the State of Florida to charge him as an adult with a charge of Vehicular Homicide. Johnny is Sixteen years old and has never had a motor vehicle or criminal violations.
I assure you that no alcohol, drugs, drag racing, or even a cell phone was involved when the accident occurred.
Johnny was on his way home from Alonso High School at 3:18 PM and lost control of the car when the road merged from two lanes to one.
If you agree that this tragic accident should remain in juvenile court, Please sign the attached petition.
Thank You for your support in this tragic situation
Margaret T and John R Holland Sr.
Seeing one thousand signatures for my son brings me a sense of hope I have not felt in a very long time. Knowing so many people recognize Johnny is just a child means everything to our family while we navigate this nightmare.

I spend my nights reading through your comments and I am overwhelmed by the stories you share about your own children. My heart aches for my son every single day but knowing so many of you care about Johnny gives me the strength to keep fighting this battle.

Seeing the count climb toward one hundred gives me such hope for my son. Please push this out to your circles right now so we can hit that milestone today.
