Some coaches, and this may be true of many professionals, may be deemed as being too valuable in their current position , and because of the time they have spent in their current positioned, are overlooked because of “lack of experience”. Opportunity yields experience, and it is my hope that the “thoughtful and thorough” process will find its terminus in the most deserving candidate...I believe that is Coach Johnnie Harris.

My question is why hasnt she been hired as a head coach anywhere before now? I will back her as head coach but I do wonder why an lead assistant for a top 10 program has never been hired as a head coach.
