1) John Williams' oeuvre includes a lot of music that brass players just love to play; 2) in larger ensembles, trombonists typically get less than their share of solo and soli passages; 3) they typically organize themselves into smaller groups because to give themselves such opportunities; 4) it would therefore be a great boon to them to have competent arrangements on the market for them to play.

Not only are these tremendous arrangements that truly capture the spirit and majesty of Mr. Williams music, but their unique challenge and instrumentation offers a valuable and worthy addition to the derived library of his work.
