John was a huge influence to me and many others. Watching him race inspired me to start racing. Unknown to him, I studied everything he did on the track. He always treated the local riders with respect. He never taunted or celebrated after a win. He was a role model to all of the younger riders.

Banzai track in St. Louis is where I think it all started. He was a champion from the very start.

Any photos you see from the 80s A Pro mains, John was there. He is long due induction.

If you were in the mid-states and raced, you knew John Piant. He was DG in the mid-west.

John Paint should be in the HOF. What he has done in this sport is deserving of him to make it without a doubt. Time to show Midwest BMXrs are just as good as West Coasters!!!

I would like to see John in the hall of fame. Not so much just because he was in magazines, and one of the fastest Midwest racers there was or because I had the chance to meet him. I feel he deserves it because of the bmx love he has for the sport. We all know his accomplishments and they should have gotten him in years ago. He is well known and is a nice to all. Let's vote him in to keep that fire I know he shares with others about bmx.

It's amazing that John Piant is not yet in the Hall of Fame. Not only did he influence an entire generation of kids in the 1970's and 1980's, but his national and international accomplishments should speak for themselves. I ask that you consider him for immediate introduction into the BMX Hall of Fame. Thank you.

When you look at all the accomplishments John had at every level and the impact he had on BMX racers in the Midwest, how can anyone argue that he shouldn't be in the BMX HOF? Additionally, I would like to add that he was a great ambassador of the sport. Please consider him for immediate induction.
