I just think there should be a bit more of a unique style for john for the hair lengths. If john gets a different beard he should have different hair. Keep the length changer though.

I'm a huge fan of the first red dead and john as a character, I too was sorely disappointed to see his hair be a copy paste of Arthur's. I hope my contribution will help rockstar take notice but given my experience with the company, it's doubtful
