I am an avid disc golfer and often take me two young sons with me for short rounds. This proposal is exciting news for my family. Having a small course in Portland with additional amenities such as the existing playground would bring in more foot traffic. Hopefully, resulting in a safer community atmosphere.

I would highly encourage the project organizers keep the neighbors in the loop every step of the way. Nothing will guarantee the present and future success of this course than getting buy-in from the folks who may be most affected by it!

I will always vote for a new course. A new course will be closer to someone, which will help them get out and exercise.
